Patrick Burrage, Principal

Patrick has more than 20 years of experience as a district leader, athletic director, principal, assistant principal and teacher of schools in multi-ethnic and multi-cultural populations. He started his teaching career through the Collaborative Urban Educator program through St. Thomas University and Minneapolis Public Schools.

As a teacher, Patrick taught math and science to middle and high school students throughout his teaching career. His love of math allowed him to bring his engineering background to his students through real world math and science experiences to the classroom.

Patrick has had the opportunity to work in large urban to small rural school districts and has educated children as an Early Learning Director and administrator of the Nationally Recognized Renaissance High School.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University in Industrial Engineering and received his teacher license from St. Thomas University. Patrick also completed a master’s degree from Western Michigan University in Educational Leadership and  is currently working on his Education Specialist degree from Minnesota State University.
