The Olson Pantherbots
Here are the PantherBots at their first FTC (First Tech Challenge) torunament, a more advanced robotics program with the Patrick Henry Herobotics team who were mentoring us.

Robotics includes three levels:

  • FLL (First Lego League ) ... elementary - middle school;
  • FTC (Fisrt Tech Challenge) ... middle school - high school (mostly high school);
  • FRC...high school.

FIRST  Tech Challenge in MN (MN FTC) is part of an international robotics program that includes more than 3000 teams globally.

Teams of up to fifteen students collaborate to build and program a robot that competes on a 12’ by 12’ field. Each year the challenge is designed to challenge students to think critically and expand their knowledge of the engineering process.

This team-based, hands-on, competitive

The Pantherbots
robotics program provides challenging and exciting learning opportunities for young people. It develops teamwork and leadership skills and promotes excitement in science and technology.

The Patrick Henry Herobotics FRC tream has gone to World's Competition for the past 6 years.  Herobotics works with our FTC team to help mentor those interested in being involved in engineering/robotics at the high school and college levels.

The team is working on the robot in the pit area before going back into the competition arena.
